How to Keep Score
Quarts of eggnog are what we’re playing for here, but fear not, you won’t be drinking any of it.

How to Play
Throughout the many thought-provoking and insightful posts, you’ll find little asides in which I offer up a challenge. Usually, the challenge will go something like this: Score yourself a quart of eggnog if you saw that one coming! Or: Two quarts of eggnog if you guessed that this was indeed my second trip to the emergency room for that very reason!

Keep track of how many quarts you win (you’re on the honor system) from Martin Luther King Jr. Day to Halloween, and email your total to doylebrau at gmail dot com in the first week of November. Eggnog season starts soon after and I’ll post the highest tallied score, along with a promise: that I’ll beat that score by time the ball drops on New Years eve!

If I can’t some how suck down more than your total of quarts, I’ll be required to post a detailed description of why I could not accomplish the goal, as well as an itemized list of all the reasons why I suck at life. But, really, I’ll be giving myself mild heart-attacks drinking eggnog like nobody’s business for two months anyway, so even if I win, you win too.
