Much like the lights on the George Washington bridge, that always seem to be out more frequently on the Manhattan side, than on the NJ side, the Manhattan Bridge Bike lane seems doomed to the same fate. I was riding up the snowy, icy, rutty Manhattan side tonight and literally as I crossed the midpoint of the bridge it changed over to the slushy, melty, plowy Brooklyn side.
Of course, it’s all going to become the icy, deathy, neck-breaky bike lane by morning, but until then, good job BK!
